The ACO Brickslot 100 series replaces a conventional grate with a discreet slot-top for the KlassikDrain K100 and KS100 trench drain system. Fabricated from 11 gauge steel, each unit fits directly into the channel's grate recess and presents only a narrow drainage slot at the finished surface. Brick pavers fit directly against the slot — the units are designed for 80 mm pavers including 1/8" (3 mm) of bedding — so stormwater is captured along an almost seamless line in plazas, walkways, and other commercial spaces where unobtrusive drainage is essential.

Rated to EN 1433 Load Class C, Brickslot 100 installs without bolts or locking hardware and pairs with K100/KS100 channels as well as Series 900 catch basins. The range spans galvanized and stainless steel construction, standard and heel-resistant slot geometries, 1 meter and 0.5 meter lengths, and half-meter access units that keep the covered system serviceable.

The Type 484 (ACO part number 138047) is the stainless steel access unit of the Brickslot 100 range, supplied in a 0.5 meter (19.69") length — all Brickslot access units are half-meter sections. Formed from 11 gauge stainless steel, it presents the standard single offset slot with a nominal 1/2" (12 mm) clear opening; the offset geometry helps prevent debris from being trapped, and the slot line is nearly invisible in paver or brick paving. Unlike a standard Brickslot section, the access unit consists of a frame with a separate removable insert — lift out the insert and the channel, trash bucket, or outlet pipes below are open for maintenance, so a covered Brickslot run stays fully serviceable. The unit weighs 16.4 lbs, adds 4.06" (103 mm) above the overall channel depth, and carries an EN 1433 Load Class C rating of 56,202 lbs (774-1,160 PSI). There is no DrainLok or QuickLok hardware — the unit rests in the channel grate seating, anti-shunt lugs prevent lateral movement, and the weight of the covering material secures it in place.
