ACO KlassikDrain stainless steel grates bring Grade 304 stainless construction to the K100/KS100 trench drain line - ACO's 4" (100 mm) internal width polymer concrete channel system for commercial and industrial stormwater drainage. Stainless steel is the specification of choice where increased aesthetics or corrosion resistance is required, making these grates the natural companion to KS100 stainless edge-rail channel runs. Every grate in the range shares a single part number across both channel rails, so the same grate drops into K100 galvanized-rail and KS100 stainless-rail sections alike.

The stainless family spans perforated, slotted, longitudinal (wedgewire), and mesh designs in 39.37" (1 m) and 19.69" (0.5 m) lengths, with EN 1433 load ratings from pedestrian-duty Class A to heavy-duty Class E depending on the type selected. Boltless DrainLok or QuickLok locking secures each grate to the channel edge rail, keeping installation fast and leaving uninterrupted access to the trench once the grates are removed for maintenance.

Type 455Q, ACO part 31640, is a one-meter slotted QuickLok grate made from 16 gauge Grade 304 stainless steel. It weighs 8.8 lbs and carries its own EN 1433 Load Class C - 56,202 lbs - 1,160 psi rating. Slots 1.75 x 0.38 in (45 x 10 mm) and 1.17 x 0.38 in (30 x 10 mm). Intake area 17.6 sq in (113.5 sq cm) per half meter of grate (Jan-2026 spec sheet). The grate stud push-fits into the spring clip of the appropriate QuickLok locking bar, which is sold separately.
