The ACO KlassikDrain K100 neutral channel — listed as a "constant depth channel" in ACO's product literature — is the zero-slope member of the K100 trench drain line. Each section is molded from high-strength polyester polymer concrete with a galvanized steel edge rail cast integrally into the rim, and it holds the same invert depth from end to end: the female invert equals the male invert, so the channel conveys water without adding fall. Neutral sections are used to extend a K100 run beyond the 131'-3" (40 m) of continuous slope the sloped series provides, while the half-meter versions let installers fine-tune run length. The family spans five constant invert depths, from 3.94" (100 mm) to 11.81" (300 mm), in 39.37" (1 m) sections plus 19.69" (0.5 m) sections at the four deeper inverts — all sharing the K100's 4" (100 mm) nominal clear opening and the full range of K100/KS100 grates.

The K1-00 is the shallowest unit in the range and the head-of-run channel: a 39.37" (1 m) section with a constant 3.94" (100 mm) invert, a 4.72" (120 mm) overall depth, and a weight of 28.1 lbs (ACO part number 74041). It is cast with a bottom knockout for a 4" round or 6" oval outlet connection; at this section the bottom outlet discharges 108 GPM (0.24 CFS) through the 4" round outlet or 177 GPM (0.39 CFS) through the 6" oval outlet — pipe flow rates at the outlet, not channel flow rates. Like every K100 channel, it accepts the full shared range of K100/KS100 grates, making it a dependable starting section for commercial and industrial trench drain runs.
